Red Rocks Amphitheater Sunrise

Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 26 September 2012 in Architecture.

Initially, as the sun rose over Red Rocks, I was positioned with my camera at the top of the amphitheater. The view out into the distance was not very exciting and I had to relocate. My eyes caught the beautiful golden light basking the amphitheater bleachers and I thus quickly moved to set myself up towards the bottom looking up the bleachers. In this panoramic, spanning well over 240 degrees, you can begin to get a feel for how beautiful this morning was.

In the middle of the frame, several rows up from my position you notice a blurred outline of a jogger enjoying some fitness in the early hours of the day.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,
