Elephants escaping the fire

Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 15 August 2012 in Animal & Insect.

Photographed in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

My last image was taken during a breathtaking sunset the day prior to this image. The area where last photo was taken is seen in this image in the distance with smoke rising into the sky. In the foreground is a herd of elephants fleeing the brush fire and seeking safety and water elsewhere.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,

Yonatan
