Victoria Falls - Helicopter Perspective!

Posted by

Photographed in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

When Lisa and I were planning our trip to Africa our tour operator suggested that we take a helicopter tour over Victoria Falls. I immediately dismissed the idea. My rationale was that I'd never been in a helicopter before and since I didn't trust them enough to get on one in New York City or elsewhere in the United States, why in the world would I suddenly get on one in Zimbabwe!

Flash forward to our trip, and after walking alongside the falls, Lisa and I desperately wanted to see them from another perspective. Next thing we knew we were booking this amazing helicopter ride. I made sure to sit in the cockpit next to pilot because this was the spot with the best photography views. There was a small window to the left of me and I was able to stick my lens out the window to get beautiful unobstructed views of Victoria Falls.
