Squirrel in cherry tree

Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 20 March 2012 in Plant & Nature.

My neighborhood is known for having a very diverse array of squirrels and here is one of the little guys enjoying an early start to spring.

My wife and I are going on safari in Africa at the end of next month and I was practicing taking photos with my long lens and monopod. Using a monopod is completely new to me and I'm definitely in the awkward phase of this new piece of equipment.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,
