Sunflower at Central Park

Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 9 October 2011 in Plant & Nature.

I have tons of shots that I've fallen behind in processing.

In honor of the beautiful weather we are experiencing in New York City this weekend, I figured this was a fitting photo. This was a simple capture taken at the Central Park Conservatory Garden this past summer.

This is a beautiful area of Central Park that I think doesn't get the attention from park goers that it deserves. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.

I have a feeling that I'm mischaracterizing this yellow flower as a sunflower. If somebody knows otherwise, please correct my ignorance.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,

Yonatan
