Shake Shack - Madison Square Park, NYC

Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 6 June 2011 in Food & Cuisine.

The original Shake Shack is pictured here in Madison Square Park, NYC. It opened in 2004 and received the "Best Burger" distinction in 2005 by NY Magazine. Unless you walk by during a really off-beat hour or in inclement weather, you can expect to join a long line of hungry people before getting to enjoy your Shack Burger.

I've eaten at this Shake Shack a few times and have dined at their other locations as well. Their burgers are definitely good, but I don't think there are any burgers that are worth waiting on such a long line for. In this picture, you can see the line in background extending to right side of the frame. The line itself extends way beyond what is viewable here. My best estimate would put your wait time at least at 60 minutes, probably more!

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,
