Merry Christmas!

To all of those that are celebrating: Merry Christmas!!

I have wanted to take this picture since last year when I first got my SLR camera. In New York City in the weeks preceding the Christmas holiday, many streets are turned into makeshift Christmas tree stores. The trees are propped up along the sidewalk and bright lights are strung up overhead. The owner typically parks an RV in the street and lives out of the RV for a few weeks. It's freezing cold for the employees, but for New Yorker's it brings the forest directly to their block. Pick your tree and they will wrap it up for you and even deliver it right to your apartment if you'd like.

If you enjoy my work you may visit my permanent website where you can view my photos.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.

I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.

Best wishes,
