Clifton Beach - Cape Town, South AfricaPosted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 30 May 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. After our wonderful tour of Table Mountain, our guide took us on a tour of the city of Cape Town. We drove through part of the inner city, and then headed to the coast to explore some of the beautiful neighborhoods and beaches. Pictured above is Clifton Beach. It is made up of four coves, and if my memory serves me correctly, this is the first cove with the others in the distance (if you are familiar with the area, please correct me if I'm wrong). The beaches in this area are known to be cold even during the hottest summer days, and this day of 65 degrees Fahrenheit was definitely a day to enjoy the view and not one to don a bathing suit and go for a dip.
