View from Table Mountain
Posted by Yonatan (New York, United States) on 25 May 2012 in Landscape & Rural.
Our first morning in Cape Town we took a cable car to the top of Table Mountain. We enjoyed a guided tour of the mountain and I made sure to take advantage of the many beautiful views offered by the mountain. Because we were on the mountain in the late morning, the sun was high in the sky and quite bright, I made sure to bracket my shots so that I would have the choice to create HDR compositions when I got home.
This photo is an HDR composition. You can see Lion's Head in the distance. Lisa and I had actually booked a guided hike up Lion's Head for that afternoon. Our plan was to hike up before sunset, and to enjoy a majestic sunset on the mountain with great view of Table Mountain being basked in the golden light of sunset. Unfortunately, clouds and rain descended upon Table Mountain and we had to cancel that adventure.
More views from the top of Table Mountain to come.

Thank you for taking some time to take a look at my photographs. I hope you enjoy your stop at my blog.
I invite you all to visit frequently and leave comments and feedback. I would really appreciate constructive criticism that will help me improve. You don't need to be a photographer to help me, tell me what you like and don't like. If you have any suggestions of interesting things to shoot or fun techniques to try I'd also love to know.
Best wishes,
Yonatan
